Relying on the Unreliable
You would think after having private tutors for over a year now that I would realize that I can’t depend on them to pay when I need it most. It has not failed yet that when I am down to my last few NT dollars that privates will do one of two things; either forget the money, or cancel on you entirely. Well, number one was the reason for this entry tonight. I know, I know, I should be more careful with my money and then I wouldn’t be waiting for the only bus that will take me close to home, even though it only comes once an hour and is slow as molasses in January, BUT I still think that it’s the responsibility of the private student to ensure they pay you when they are supposed to. I what I should start doing is asking for the money @ the beginning of the lesson ‘cos that way @ least if they don’t have it, I won’t have to waste my time teaching them….either that, or actually go and find a new job with more hours…riiiiiiiiiight.
