hairdo unhappiness

i did a really stupid thing last night peep's...as you've seen from photos, i've been letting my hair grow out for around the last 6 months or so, mainly due to the fact that every time i've gotten a hair cut here the haircutter manages to give it a taiwanese twist...it's a little hard to explain, so i have been trimming it up myself. Unfortunately, it had become rather bothersome lately, not so much long but thick and bowl-like....so, i decided to bite the bullet and go get it cut. I opted for a barber 'round the corner, and spoke the little Chinese to try and make the man understand...he seemed to follow, so i let him go. I thought I told him "not too short" but i must've said the opposite...it's not entirely his fault tho...since i was a little kid, i have a hard time staying awake in the chair, so like a chump i dozed off for a few minutes....when i awoke i looked @ the reflection in mirror much to my shock i didn't recognize the man staring back @ me! anyway, you can tell from the picture just how shocked i must've been and i have now vowed to find a barber/stylist who can 1) understand English and 2) use a real pair of scissors, not thinning shears. Oh well, the upside is it's a lot cooler (temperature-wise, not style-wise) and it will grow back.....someday :(
