A Quiet One
As the title suggests, this weekend was indeed a quiet one. Friday night, didn't get up to much but just chilled out @ home with some beers, tunes and a movie....very relaxing and a much needed rest from the first-week-back-to-work-post-vacation blues. Felt a little strange not having much to do or, any plans to speak of. Saturday, woke up as Elisha was going to kung fu class and spent the morning pricing computer stuff as we are thinking of putting in a wireless connection. Grabbed some lunch, then home for another movie and a nap. Sat around until around 10:00pm waiting for a cheap idea to come my way...it finally did and caught the train to Gus' new pad in Jingmei. The plan was to stay for a few beers and leave to catch the last train back to Zhongzheng but they kept feeding me drinks and before i knew it, i was eating japanese takeout from yoshinoya @ 4:30 in the morning....oh well, still was a cheap night and that's what i like. Today, slept in until 12:00 and then got up for some lunch with leesh...watched Human Traffic (a movie that always makes me want to go out) and now i'm having a late-sunday afternoon beer whilst thinking of what to eat for dinner. So, that's pretty much the gist of the weekend...notta lotta. Anyway, the next few should be quite filled with fun...lavigne and ryan are coming for a visit next weekend, so lots to do and see (don't plan on sleeping much lavigne, just so you know :)...weekend after that is leesh's birthday celebrations and a quick VISA run yet again...thinking 'bout Malaysia, but have to price stuff out yet...and the weekend after that we have parent's day crapola to do which means working a Saturday (yuck.)
