tis the season

when it comes to blogging, it's either feast or famine. sometimes it seems as though there aren't enough words to describe what i've been doing, yet @ other times I can barely scrape 2 or 3 sentences together. that said, please forgive this piecemeal entry as although i truly don't have a lot to say, i feel an obligation to this blog of mine. much the same as a parent might feel towards an estranged child.

last week was alright. it was another short week @ work because i had to take yet another VISA run to hk. pretty uneventful but i didn't get exactly what i wanted, VISA-wise. the reason cited for thus was that i couldn't prove my relationship to elisha, whom i said was my sole source of income. feeling cheeky, i retorted. "does the love in my heart count?" answer: no.

still, it was nice to be in hk...such an amazing place, especially @ christmas time. they have real, live decorations everywhere...really put me in the spirit.

keeping in the theme of the spirit of the season, a few posts ago i talked about my relation with my parents and it's failings. what i didn't say is being a sometimes spiteful person that i can be, i hadn't spoken to them in awhile. we've since bridged the gap between our disagreements and are participating in actual conversations again. it's a relief, because event hought they push my buttons, i still love 'em.

other news in the upswing to the holidays is i haven't started my shopping yet, but that's pretty much par for the course. i figure i work best under pressure so i'll get to it @ one point of another. still unsure of what i really want...i don't really have need anything, nor do i have my eye on anything @ the moment...well, except maybe an ipod nano, or a new notebook computer...both big ticket items, but i think i've been a very good boy this year. santa, if you're reading please remember that.

one last thing before i sign off, i've decided to write a blot a day for the 12 days of christmas, so enjoy the sleigh ride folks, i t promises to be very merry.
