@ a loss

i have a major case of writers' block @ the moment. so bad, in fact, that i haven't really bothered to update for a while. whilst trying to pinpoint cause of said writers' block, i cannot come up with a single good reason. i believe it is a combination of excuses....busy social events calendar, party planning sheer lack of ambition. i have made some attempt @ an entry but to no avail...seems i need a good kick in the proverbial pants to get me going again.

so, what have i been up to? well, as you've probably read march was a busy, busy month. birthdays, theme party, rock festivals it was here and gone before i knew it. spring scream was awesome. 5 days of beach, good friends and a festival atmosphere. just what this body needed to recoup and regenerate. i would like to say more, but pictures can speak a 1000 words so i'll let them do the talking. check out my photo site for all the highlights.

next big thing is our blue hawaii bbq this weekend. the weather has been hi hao. hoping this weekend will be nice so we can kickoff the summer properly. there is just something about a bbq, isn't there? it's the type of event everyone can enjoy. i mean, who doesn't like bbq food? add some beers, stir in some music and a sprinkle of sunshine and you've got yourself a nice little gathering. really looking forward to it.

birthday time is fast approaching. 14 days actually. thus far, haven't had my pre-birthday existential crisis...give me a few more days and i should do....seriously, i'm calm this time 'round, so should be A-O-K on the run up to the big 2-9. 29. what a nothing sort of an age to be? what's special about it? nadda. last year wasn't a big deal either come to think about it and as for the next one...we don't talk about it out loud. for all that know me, i can forward you my address for gifts...they seemed to get lost in the mail last time. or, you could make a donation to my bank account @ royal...again, i'll forward on the details. nice round numbers would be great.

there, i've managed to fill up a few kilobytes of space by now, so i'll sign off. maybe i've finally broke thru this block, but the proof will be when i blog next time and how long inbetween. see ya later daters.
