here it is, 5:00 in the afternoon and i sit a bit bummed out. i was meant to go and take in a baseball game but due to inclement weather the game was called. i have to say i'm a little disappointed...it promised to be a good match between two of the most popular teams here in taiwan. i guess i have had almost 3.5 years in which to take in a game so i can't blame the weather for my misfortune but it makes me feel better if i do and the weather won't mind.
still on this whole laying low kick...get for the savings account but not so much for the spirit...feeling bored. had a little fun this weekend...friday went out for some happy hour drinks with some peeps, but was home around 11 so an early night. saturday was hot and nothing much going on so went to the movies to pirates of the caribbean. this funk tho started after we got home last night...just felt out of sorts and the fact that it was only 12:30 and we were going to bed depressed me a little. anyway, i'll feel better soon enough i'm sure...just need to have a good night out to remind me of it.
on a different note, leesh and i have decided to upgrade our camera so we can take some nicer photos of our trip. i told my boss this week that i was leaving but would like to continue freelancing...he agreed and told me that AMC would be interested in buying photos as well, so it looks as tho i will be writing a series of travel articles which will be fun...travel really makes for some creative writing, and tho most of the places i'll be seeing are going to places which have been written about ad nauseum, i'm going to enjoy putting my spin on what i see and do. plus, getting paid for writing is always a bonus.
