on the fritz

my computer has been broken now for almost 6 weeks. broken as in has a nasty trojan virus which restricts my internet bandwidth, allowing me only to visit such choice websites as www.allyouneedinawebsite.com, or various other nothing sites. i hate not having a working computer in my house...rather, having a computer that can access the internet. never knew how much i depended on it. i'm reduced to using my school's computer which is in chinese and works about half the time. sigh. the plan is to buy a new one next week when i get paid. i'm heavily considering crossing over to the dark side, switching from windows to apple. i've got my eye on the new apple imac G5...160GB, 512MB, dvd-writer, built-in webcam, 17 inch display plus a remote control. i'm in love...take a look if you want here @ www.apple.com/imac . it sure is a step-up from my 5-year old, compaq pentium 3 with the small hard drive space of 12GB and 13 inch screen. in comparison, my notebook is nothing more than a glorified calculator.
